A conversation with Metro Life Church. The Path of the Ward Law Group’s path to finding spiritual meaning in its work.

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37). That is, in the words of Pastor Steve Alessi, a passage from the scriptures that comes to his mind every time he thinks of Mr. Greg Ward and Ms. Jany Martinez Ward.

He, the Pastor, says that when observing and analyzing the story of the firm from its beginnings, the difficult processes they went through in their personal histories, as well as a lot of uncertainty, in contrast to what they have achieved to date is a demonstration that this scripture is fulfilled.

As described in our attorneys' conversation with Pastor Alessi, the idea of connecting with Metro Life Church was to find a church that is a family and allows them to stimulate a desire to belong to a spiritual community in their teenage daughters.

There is a very good relationship between the Ward family and Metro Life Church. Being part of this Christian community has allowed donations to be made, thus promoting the sustainability of the Christian community.

However, things did not always go smoothly in the history of our founding lawyers. They were not always able to choose to contribute to a beautiful Christian community, but there were times of great difficulty, as in the case of Ms. Jany Martinez, who had to face a very long journey through several countries. However, one phrase stood out as she went through these hard trials of life: "No matter where you are, don't lose hope."

"I now want people to have a voice since I didn't have one then." That is one of the reflections Ms. Jany Ward shared with Metro Church, as she recalled that upon arriving in the United States in very complex conditions, she felt trapped in a language she did not understand and in a completely unknown world.

How do you discover your mission in such a complex situation? Could it be that it was a crash course planned by God and life itself to be able to help so many people who are going through similar situations, do not speak English, and want to be recognized for their human condition?

While a popular phrase says, "God gives the toughest battles to his best warriors," it's easy to forget motivational phrases like this when it's not clear where we'll be spending the night the next day. However, there is always the possibility to pause for a moment, to connect with God within, and to be inspired by the divine message, the message of intuition that occurs in our hearts when we know that the right path is the one that brings us closer to our mission. To that special thing we have come to do in this world.

Finding your mission and renewing your connection with God is far greater than any sabotaging voice telling you that you won't be able to achieve your dreams. Not giving up has been part of this long road.

The Ward Law Group is a story of constant overcoming and a path back to God and reaching our heart's desire to find spiritual meaning in our daily work.

It is always a pleasure to share many insights and reflections of the journey with Metro Life Church from the firm's founding to the present day, where The Ward Law Group positively impacts the lives and hearts of hundreds of people seeking help.
